11th ISRII Scientific Meeting
We were delighted to host the 11th Scientific Meeting of the International Society for Research on Internet Interventions (ISRII)!
The event was held September 18-21 at the University Club at Pitt. We had represenation from 20 countries and over 200 scientific presentations!

Among presentations, a session modeled after the hugely popular How I Built This with Guy Raz podcast was the How I Built This – ISRII Edition . This was a two-part session of individual interviews with faculty entrepreneurs who have been successful at transitioning to industry, licensing or creating a start-up company around their research. Moderated by ISRII co-founder and past president, Lee Ritterband, he discussed with interviewees origin stories with crisis, failure, tension, discomfort, triumph, and advice for success!
